Last week we rearranged our petite retail space inside Urbanite, a multi vendor shopping destination, to celebrate the warmer weather and the welcome arrival of a new season. Everything in the shop feels so light and airy and we're hard at work designing hand painted garden flowers on our shop windows. Shopkeeper Ponderings No. 3 / Reopening
Posted by RODELLEE BAS
We are finally reopening our studio & showroom and I wanted to share some progress photos and some shopkeeper ponderings about reopening. Nearly a year ago we had reopened our retail shop on SE 2nd Street after being closed for several months due to the lockdowns then by October of last year the brick & mortar with a café would be no longer. Since then I have taken my time to figure out what to do with the front of our space and to be perfectly honest, I really struggled to find inspiration and motivation to reopen the retail shop up until...

It's been quite awhile since we've done a Shop Scenes post here in the Journal, our last shop scenes was back in February PC (pre covid). Pre everything changing at a drop of a pin, every which way and what way. The biggest change to our retail store is we moved the mypiggywiggy retail shop which you can read more about in this blog post. and our old retail location is now just our office/studio/atelier...though we will be doing appointment only shopping in our showroom (which we will be setting up after the holidays). SAFE, SANITIZED, SOCIAL DISTANCE SHOPPING Urbanite is over...

February Shop Scenes at mypiggywiggy

Hello! Hello! C'est moi, Rodellee, owner and founder of mypiggywiggy back again with another Shop Scenes post! This month has been a busy little month for us here at mypiggywiggy so I'm glad I was able to squeeze in some photo taking at the shop this week. Not to be too woo-woo or anything, but when things stay stagnant...

Saturday Shop Scenes at mypiggywiggy
Posted by mypiggywiggy
Oh goodness, it's a brand spanking new year dearies and this is my very first blog post of a brand spanking new decade! I didn't really have any sort of plans on what to post, other than I felt like doing a blog post today of the happenings around the mypiggywiggy brick & mortar shop here on a rainy, drizzly, grey January day. Maybe you're asking yourself how's our little vintage women's clothing boutique doing in Poland, (+48)355712125. Ahhh... time will tell. But so far, we're having a lot of fun as these photos may suggest. (Isn't this photo of me...

So Soon! mypiggywiggy SOFT Opening!
Posted by mypiggywiggy
Time has been an interesting companion these past few months. In many ways it seems just like yesterday that I chanced upon the availability of our new shop location (it was in early August) then signed a lengthy lease... and then WHAM BAM WIPPITY WHOA my world kind of turned topsy turvy. Not a complaint, but goodness, I am facing this Saturday of our soft open with a glad heart and a giant sigh of relief that all the restless nights are coming to a close. Things will get back on schedule... you see I like schedules. I like lists. I...
